It actually hurt to see the below pictures, the above were gorgeus thats for certain. It actually made my stomach twist. Why is it we feel we need to cut down so much? its nto only killing trees its killing animals, killing us even. Why? why does this all have to happen? the world will always have problems yes but ones like these can be reduced by so much :-(

The reason they do it? Well, we need lumber for stuff. Buildings, paper, TP, you name it. What the problem is is that a lot of places I believe see a tree as a $ instead of a house for organisms like squirrels and ants to live in. Cutting down an entire forest is ok for some reason, if its being used for good use, and the land is used afterwards for something good. Through that logic, using the trees for something good, land for something good, it must be good right? WRONG. Now where do the animals live? How is the good soil protected from erosion (for all of you who don't know, trees and plants' roots hold the good soils together and keep them from being washed away into lakes and oceans by rain, winds, etc.). These forest are essential to the world, and, not to rain on anyones parade, I'm all up for tree planting, but it's not enough.

Its sad to think that out of the billions in the world only a handull really do care about whats going on while the rest think $ (money). The question is what can this handfull do? Its hardly fair to the animals of whats going on here, tree planting isnt enough but its something, unfourtunatly not enough.
